Core Infrastructure: State Over Sequence

Legacy automations rely on linear workflows that break the moment an unexpected variable is introduced. Aura is designed as a persistent, asynchronous state machine.

• Stateless Execution: The database acts as the absolute source of truth; the execution engines are entirely stateless.
• Atomic Transactions: Logically related changes—updating a lead's world model, logging an immutable event, and advancing an execution stage—occur in single, all-or-nothing database transactions.
• Strict Stage Validation: The system distinguishes between the physical state of an entity and the discrete stage of the active operation. Execution nodes mathematically cannot process an action if the database does not validate the correct stage.

The Autonomic Engines

Aura operates through a network of single-responsibility engines, dynamically routing data through the Action Graph.

• The Scout Engine (Discover & Reason): Scans raw data feeds to extract verified facts, completely devoid of hallucination or generic summarization. It identifies "digital smoke"—ignored behavioral signals—to formulate falsifiable operational inferences and predict future infrastructure constraints.
• The Ghostwriter Engine (Execute): Drafts brutally concise, peer-level technical communications based purely on the operational reality identified by the Scout.
• The Filter Engine (Audit & Correct): An autonomous quality gate that scores generated execution payloads on Groundedness, Novelty, Human-Likeness, and Salesiness. If an output triggers an AI-vocabulary threshold or lacks novelty, the Filter explicitly rejects it and forces the Ghostwriter into a rewrite loop.
• The Core Processor (Parse & Learn): Acts as the central nervous system for inbound data. It parses incoming intent, identifies hidden objections, and evaluates whether the new information confirms, refines, or disproves the original operational hypothesis. It constantly updates the system's "World Model" so every subsequent action is contextually accurate.

Resilience & Recovery

Technical infrastructure is only as reliable as its failure states. Aura is built to expect and autonomously recover from localized failures.

• Database-Level Idempotency: External actions (like dispatching communications or booking calendars) are physically isolated from internal state changes. A side-effect is logged as PENDING and strictly requires external provider proof (e.g., a message ID) to be marked as COMPLETED. This guarantees the system cannot double-fire.
• The Paramedic (Automated Recovery): A dedicated, continuous background worker actively sweeps the database for abandoned or stuck operations that have breached their timeout deadlines. The Paramedic claims these recoverable operations, interrogates the exact point of failure, and safely routes them back into the execution loop without human intervention.
• Immutable Event Logging: Every successful stage transition writes to an append-only event log, maintaining a perfect historical timeline of the execution graph.
